Access Requirements
Before unlocking this feature, creators must meet the following requirements:
- 1,000 total watch hours
- At least 10 published contents
- Minimum 30 days on the platform
These thresholds ensure that only active creators with an engaged audience can access premium monetization tools.
Enabling Pay-Per-View Content
Once the requirements are met, you can start converting your content into premium PPV offerings.
You can:
- Set a price per content (from $0.50 to $9.99)
- Monetize both:
- Movies
- Individual episodes of a series
You can convert up to 20% of your total content into premium content.
Managing Premium Content
After unlocking the feature, your published content will appear in a table view within this section.
From here, you can:
- Toggle any eligible content to Premium
- Revert premium content back to Free at any time
This gives you full control over your monetization strategy.
Best Practices for Premium Content
Pay-per-view works best when it builds on existing audience interest and engagement.
Some effective strategies include:
- Exclusive content
Offer special episodes, bonus scenes, or spin-offs that are not available elsewhere. - High-value moments
Consider monetizing key moments, such as:- A special episode
- Behind-the-scenes content
- A season finale (use carefully to avoid audience frustration)
- Fan-driven demand
Grow your audience with free content first, then introduce premium content once engagement and anticipation are high.
The goal is to create excitement and perceived value — not to block access too early.
When used strategically, premium content can significantly increase your revenue while strengthening your relationship with your most engaged viewers.
